Longueuil and Brossard: services, aerospace and retail
The Longueuil area has aerospace and transportation companies, professional services and a large retail network. Brossard, with the DIX30 district, concentrates retail, dealerships and offices. Positions range from technicians to sales advisors.
Saint-Jean, Châteauguay, Sorel-Tracy: industry away from the centre
Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and the Richelieu Valley are known for their manufacturers and agri-food industry. In Châteauguay, logistics and retail take up a lot of space. Sorel-Tracy, further east, still has a heavy industry base tied to metallurgy.
