Job interviews: the questions you'll be asked
A good interview isn't won with a memorized speech. It's won with simple, honest answers.
1. Tell me about yourself
Summarize your background in one minute: what you do, where you learned it, what you're looking for.
2. Why this position?
Show that you've read the job ad. Talk about what interests you in the work itself.
3. Why did you leave your last job?
Stay factual and respectful, even if the situation was difficult. Avoid criticizing your former employer.
4. Give me an example of a problem you solved
Choose a concrete situation: what happened, what you did, the result.
5. What are your salary expectations?
Know the market range for your position and give a realistic number or range.
Ask your own questions
Schedule, team, training, prospects. It shows you're serious.
